4 days from Marrakech to Sahara desert

Itinerary & program of

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Telouat Kasbah – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate.

Our driver will pick you up from Marrakech at 8:30 am. The trip will start from Marrakech, through the way we will see the High Atlas mountains, also the highest point in of the road with 2260 m. We will have good times enjoying the beauty of nature and take picture of the of the ancient; Amazigh (Berber) Villages. After this we will take a small road to Telouat Kasbah, where you will enjoy the special food of the town. In the afternoon we will go through the Ounila Valley , where you will witness small forgotten; berber villages in the high mountains with families living in old houses made of clay . Our next stop is will be in the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou,we will take a chance to see the well-known Kasbah ,it is consider as a global heritage spot by UNESCO in 1986, because some movie makers have shot Films in this stunning stage; for instance Gladiator, Game of Throne, Sahara with Penélope Cruz… ect. The last stop of this day is Ouarzazate; it is also called" The Gate of the Desert. We will spend the night in hotel and have dinner.

Day 2: Ouarzazate _ Daraa Valley _ Nkoub _ Alnif _ Rissani _ Merzouga.

Today we will start after having a healty breakfast. Our next stop is Draa Valley ,through the way you will be able  to see one of the largest rivers in the country also you can feel the spirit and the beauty of the amazigh/berber villages . We will be having enough time for a  delicious lunch in Nkob or Alnif and will take about a two hours road to reach the most visited area in Morocco ; which is Merzouga dunes(huge mountans of sand).when we reach merzouga we will change our tranportation with the most used natural ride in the area which is camels and head to the core of the desert , when we will find camps ,these camps are tents made of camel and goat wool.we will spend some familiar time in the camp and enjoy the beauitiful sky full with stars and berber music after we have dinner.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert _Rissani Market _Erfoud Fossil’s _ Todra Gorges _Dadés Valley.

We will start this day by waking up in the early morning to witness one of the amazing sunrise you have ever seen in the top of the sahara desert and enjoy the the beauty of the desert ,then we will be heading back to Merzouga on the back of camels to enjoy our healthy breakfast . Our next stop is Rissani ,where you can visit a weekly market . We will leave Rissani and go to erfoud and visit the manufactures of fossilized marble. Touroug is our next stop and we will go directly to Tinjdad palm groves.After one hour we will get Todra Gorges, which one of best palces in High Atlas. In this area you will be able to see a river that the goes aside the canyon , which makes it famous to people especially climbers. You will be having enough time to eat lunch and enjoy the beautiful views in this area, and of course have a short walk beside rives.
Then we will head to the Dades vallley ;also called the figs valley, after that we will stop at the Monkey legs through Boumalne Dadés .And finally we will have our dinner and spend the night at the Dades Gorges.

Day 4: Dadés Valley _ Roses Valley _Palm Groves of Skoura _High Atlas _Marrakech.

As usual , we will start this day with a vital breakfast and enjoy the spectacular views of Dadès valley from a special spot in mounatins. Then we will carry on ,in the way we will be witnessing many kasbahs which you will be interested in , this route is called the “One thousand kasbahs road”.The next stop is the Roses valley and the Skoura palm grove ,after that we will head to Ouarzazate to visit the kasbah of Taourirt ,an old residence of the Glaoui or Marrakech pasha.Then if we have time we will visit the cinema studios and the cinema museum. At this point you will probably be hungry, so we will take enough time to enjoy a healty lunch . We will be heading back to Marrakech, in the afternoon, using the mountain port of Tizi Ntichka to enjoy the views and take pictures. At the 6 pm we will be on Marrakech .
