5 days from Fez to Marrakech via the desert

Itinerary & program of

Day 1: Fez - Ifrane- Cedar forest- Medalt- Ziz valley- Merzouga

We are going to pick up you from your hotel or riad in Fes at 8:00Am then we began our journey.
You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland" of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and to have memorable photos. After that you will head toward Azrou "cedar forest" to see the monkeys.
Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. After that, we will cross the pass of "Tizi N Talghamt" to arrive Errachidia, we will have a stop in gorges of Ziz valley.
The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by passing Erfoud (famous with fossils and dates) and it is the last city before we arrive to Merzouga .
Overnight in a hotel .

Day 2: Exploring the desert - Camel trek - Camp

Today we will explore the desert region and the marvel that is the Erg Chebbi desert dunes. We will make a circuit of the desert dunes where you will have the opportunity to see a nomad family thier way of living and the amazing changing contrasts of the desert. We will visit the “black village” of Khamlia to see the Gnawa musicians. We will have a traditional Berber pizza for lunch in a village . In the afternoon, we will ride the camels to see the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in the desert camp. We will have a traditional tagine dinner, listen to traditional Berber music while watching the stars and the rising moon in the amazing Sahara desert. Overnightin the Camp.

Day 3: Merzouga _ Erfoud _ Todra Gorge _ valley of dades _ Gorge Dades

Today , we will wake up in the early morning; in order to see the incredible sunrise from a high dune . After that, you will enjoy your breakfast in the Camp. Our first stop will be in Erfoud, the famous for the fossil ( if you would that to visit a factory of fossil to have some information about it). Lunch time will be in Tinjdad or tinghir. We continue our way to Torda Gorge which is the best place for the climbers, you will have sometime to walk and  enjoy the landscape of the Gorge. We will drive to dades valley , there you can enjoy the views and landscape of the valley the berber villages , before we get to our hotel. Overnight in Gorge of dades .

Day 4: Gorge dades _ Boutghrar _ valley of the roses _ Skoura _ Ouarzazat

After breakfast in the hotel , we will start our last the by Off Road . You will enjoy the landscape of the high Atlas mountains.We will see the Nomad family who are you still living the caves. then, we continue our way to the valley of the roses ( if you are interested to see how they make the rose oil , water ..). We continue to Skoura to visit a kasbah of Amridil, it is from the 17th cuntry, before we arrive Ouarzazat. In Ouarzazat you could visit the museum of cinema or the Kasbah of Taourirt. Over night in Ouarzazat .

Day 5: Ouarzazat- ait ben haddou- Talouat- Marrakech

Today is our last day together. Our first stop will be in the Studio of the movie or some pictures. Our next stop is will be in the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou,we will take a chance to see the well-known Kasbah ,it is consider as a global heritage spot by UNESCO in 1986, because some movie makers have shot Films in this stunning stage; for instance Gladiator, Game of Throne, Ali Baba and so on... Then we continue our way to the next kasbah of Telouat via the valley of Ounila .We will have some stops to enjoy the beauty of nature and take pictures of the of the ancient; Amazigh (Berber) Villages. After you visit the Kasbah, we will drive towards the High Atlas mountains which is pass of Touchka 2260 M high. After we cross the mountains about an hour we will be in the Red city which is Marrakech.
