6 Days From Casablanca Fes and Merzouga

Itinerary & program of

Day 1: Airport Casablanca.

Our driver and our tour guide will wait you at the airport of Casablanca to pick you up . You will drive to Casablanca and you could visit the biggest mosque in Morocco which is Hassan 2 mosque.
Overnight in Casablanca.

Day 2: Casablanca- Exploring Rabat - Meknes

Today you will drive to the the capital of Morocco which is Rabat. Rabat is located on the Atlantic coastline at the mouth of the river Bou Regreg, opposite the twin city of Sale. The first stop will be at the Kasbah Oudayas. Next on the agenda is the fascinating site of the Hassan Tower dating back to 1185. The minaret rises up to 44 meters, and was believed that it would reach 88 meters. However in 1755 it was largely destroyed by an earthquake. Opposite the Hassan Tower is the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, a monument of modern Morocco. This amazing white architecture capped by a green (the color of Islam) pyramid shaped roof is the final resting place of the King and his two sons. Following the tour of the mausoleum you will visit the Chellah Kasbah, which is the site of an ancient Roman city and necropolis. This site was abandoned in 1154 AD. In 1339 Sultan Abu 1-Hasan built monuments, main gate, mosque and tombs. This is where he was eventually laid to rest.After your visit of Rabat you will drive to Maknes . Overnight in Meknes.

Day 3: Meknes - exploring Fez

Today you are going to visit Meknes which is one of the 4 imperial cities after Rabat , Fez and Marrakech. You will see Lahdim square, like the square of Jamaa lafna in Marrakech. Also, in front of the square you can see the biggest Gate in Africa which is Bab Mansour and the artificial lake in Meknes . After that, we will drive to Fez. You will discover The oldest Medina in Morocco with a tour guide in Fez. You will start with the royal palace, the Jewish quarter .Then, you will drive up a hill to enjoy a view from the south Bourj and you will head on to the ceramic-pottery-store-and-factory. Then after all this places you will go for a long walk inside the medina to discover the very different life of it and the cultural and historical interest including the famous Al Qaraouine University – the oldest in the region, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum and Mulay Idriss mausoleum. After lunch, you’ll visit the tiles cooperative and then experience a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. Overnight in Fez.

Day 4: Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Ziz Valley- Merzouga.

We are going to pick up you at 8:00Am then we began our journey. You will have a stop in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland” of Morocco to enjoy its beauty and to have memorable photos. After that, you will head toward Azrou “cedar forest” to see the monkeys.Continuing to Midelt for a lunch meal in a restaurant. After that, we will cross the pass of “Tizi N Talghamt” to arrive Errachidia in making a stop in gorges of Ziz valley.The drive continues to Erg Chebbi Dunes passing by Erfoud (famous with fossils and dates) where you may want to visit a local fossil craft workshop. After that, you will continue to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, Merzouga Dunes. Arriving at the hotel, and overnight there with dinner and breakfast.

Day 5: Camp -Rissani Market -Erfoud - Todra Gorges -Dadés Valley.

We will start this day by waking up in the early morning to witness one of the amazing sunrise you have ever seen in the top of the sahara desert and enjoy the the beauty of the desert ,then we will be heading back to Merzouga on the back of camels to enjoy our healthy breakfast . Our next stop is Rissani ,where you can visit a weekly market . We will leave Rissani and go to erfoud and visit the manufactures of fossilized marble. Touroug is our next stop and we will go directly to Tinjdad palm groves.After one hour we will get Todra Gorges, which one of best palces in High Atlas. In this area you will be able to see a river that the goes aside the canyon , which makes it famous to people especially climbers. You will be having enough time to eat lunch and enjoy the beautiful views in this area, and of course have a short walk beside rives.
Then we will head to the Dades vallley ;also called the figs valley, after that we will stop at the “Monkey legs” through Boumalne Dadés .And finally we will have our dinner and spend the night at the Dades Gorges.

Day 8 : Marrakech - Airport.

Today is the last day in our trip; and our driver will transfer you from the hotel in Marrakech to the airport. The end of our services. Thank you for trusting us.
